Fresh news from the fine folks at Backstage Country. They have released a statement outlining the incoming changes to the co-host of the show! Kelly Ford will be moving on, and coming in is Elaina Smith from Nights with Elaina. Check out the details below:
“Backstage Country is excited to welcome Elaina Smith as the new co-host of Backstage Country, beginning Monday, February 17, 2025. Elaina has become a major presence in Country radio, bringing Nashville to audiences across the country as host of the nationally syndicated Nights with Elaina program and we are proud to bring her award-winning talent to your stations.
First off, we want to wish Kelly Ford all the best and thank her for the amazing job in hosting Backstage Country. Kelly’s talent helped take this show to another level and we wish her all the best with her work as afternoon drive host and Music Director at “The Wolf” on Long Island, NY.
Attached is a copy of the release going out this morning announcing Elaina as our new co-host. She is an amazing talent in her own right and will continue making Backstage Country the best show in country syndication and the only show co-hosted every week by today’s Country music superstars!
Backstage Country is in great hands, as Elaina will continue to co-host the show with a powerhouse lineup featuring today’s hottest Country artists as weekly guest hosts of the show, delivering exclusive backstage insights and exciting Country music and entertainment.
There will be NO changes to the clocks, format, or delivery of the show. We will be posting new promos for the show to the FTP site soon. Elaina is standing by to record custom liners and promos for your stations. Please send those along and we will get them turned around in time for the first week with Elaina co-hosting the show the week of February 17th.
