CMA Music Festival Helps Fund Projects Like Zac Brown’s Camp Southern Ground

Michael Tran/FilmMagicIn 2016, the CMA Foundation will give close to three million dollars to 29 non-profits involved in music education– all from money raised during CMA Music Festival. Next year’s $2.68 million is the biggest contribution ever, all thanks to the fact that the artists play each summer’s Nashville stadium shows for free.

One of the grants will help fund Zac Brown‘s Camp Southern Ground. His vision for the state-of-the-art facility in Peachtree City, Georgia grew out of his own experience as a camp counselor. Camp Southern Ground works with kids …read more
