Once again the Chamber is adopting a family through the Salvation Army of Ishpeming for Christmas.
Last year through generous donations of Chamber members, we were able to make the holiday season a little brighter for one area family.
Below is information about “our” family…. if you’d like to donate an item, gift card or cash, contact Elizabeth at the Chamber office, firstname.lastname@example.org or 486-1111.
We’ll be shopping next Tuesday, December 13 and wrapping all of the gifts December 14.
This family of five (mom & four kids, Dad is in Iraq) has made a wish list, we don’t have to buy everything on the list, but it gives us a great idea at what they like and are hoping for!
Mom – M-L shirts, 7/8 pants and size 6 shoes. She’d like a crock pot, coffee pot, warm gloves and a gas card.
Robby – 16 year old boy – Men’s large shirt, 32X32 jeans and size 11 1/2 shoes. He would very much like a snowmobile suit but realizes this may be asking for too much. Long johns, warm socks, warm gloves and a flashlight.
Abby – 6 year old girl – wears size 7/8 and size 1 shoes. She would like a Pillow Pet, books, a doll house with furniture or anything educational.
Travis – 4 year old boy – wears size 5T and size 10 1/2 shoes. He would like a train set, Pillow Pet, books or anything “CARS” (but he has the CARS movie already).
Katie – 3 year old girl – wears a size 2T and size 6 shoes. She would like Dora, anything purple, things to play dress up or a baby doll.
Thank you in advance and have fun shopping!
