Marquette, MI – November 9, 2022 – Over the years WFXD has raised nearly $80,000 total!
At the end of Day Two last year, we had raised over $18,000 for St. Jude. This year we’re looking to break that record and exceed $20,000 because cancer never stops and neither should we. Just like in the past, our DJs are live for two days, from 6am to 6pm, to bring you four story songs per hour and unlimited chances to help save lives!
Tomorrow hear from our Title Sponsor Hardee’s of Marquette. Travis, General Manager at Hardee’s will be talking with Eric Scott at 8am. Hardee’s has donated over $930,000 to St. Jude since 2012. This year Hardee’s will be matching some of our donations again with a matching hours today from 8 – 9 am, 1 – 2 pm, and then again tomorrow from 5 – 6 pm!
Within the first 12 hours of the radiothon we raised $8,937, more than a half of our goal! Ending Day One at $8,937, join us again tomorrow for the second half of the St. Jude Radiothon!
If you missed your chance to donate today, you can join the #ThisShirtSavesLives movement and become a Partner in Hope tomorrow or donate whatever you can give! It is only $19 a month, which is 63 cents per day! At St. Jude, families never receive a bill. Your donations help fund continuing cancer research that will be shared with our local hospitals, cover treatments for patients, and pay for lodging and meals for families. Additionally, when you become a Partner in Hope you’ll get an awesome limited edition t-shirt!
Make sure your alarm is set and coffee is ready as day two starts early tomorrow morning at 6:00am on Marquette’s Hit Country 103 FXD with Adam Carpenter. Luke Ghiardi takes over from 10 am – 3pm and Eric Scott will close out the evening from 3 – 6 pm.
Call in to become a Partner in Hope between 6am – 6pm at (906) 361-9393 or donate online:
