Country's Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett has no choice but to stay up late when he’s playing concerts, but that night-owl routine stops when he’s at home.

Thomas tells ABC News Radio, “When I’m off, I’m in bed by 10:30.”

Now that he’s headlining a few shows of his own, Thomas may not get off the stage until midnight, and he can’t just go straight to bed.

“It’s hard to decompress until about 3 in the morning,” Thomas explains.  “So you end up sleeping from 3 to 1 in the afternoon.  So, that’s kind of a typical day.”

Even though traveling from city to city can be a grind, Thomas always perks up when he hears the roar of his concert crowds.

He says, “There’s a lot of nights before I go onstage, I’m yawning — dead tired.  But once you walk out there, adrenaline kinda takes over.”

Thomas is opening for Brantley Gilbert this spring on the Let It Ride tour. Check out his website for dates.
