Gwinn, MI – November 3, 2018 – It was a brisk morning in Gwinn for the grand opening of Dis n’ Dat, the new thrift store across from Gwinn High School in the old Sav-On building. The weather didn’t stop plenty of people from heading down to the festivities, though, and along with them went Great Lakes Radio’s own Alex Baysore, who was eager to see what all the excitement was about.
Alex went live on the air to tell everybody listening about how impressed he was by the new thrift store. When he talked with Shannon Gratehouse, who owns Dis n’ Dat, he was surprised to find that the store carries over 10,000 items! He was eager to check out the store, and throughout the broadcast he encouraged people to come and see the impressive array of items for themselves. There were free snacks for all the attendees, and multiple raffles throughout the event. Everyone that Alex talked to was very happy with the grand opening and already excited to shop there.
Dis n’ Dat is located at 105 M-35 in Gwinn. If you missed the Grand Opening, stop in and see Shannon any day of the week! The store is open Monday through Thursday 10am to 6pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 3pm. With all of the unique items and work from local artists, this is the perfect place to get some early Christmas Shopping done.
