Marquette, MI – 7/3/2019 – Do you like craft beer, music, and being outdoors? If so, Forestville is for you! This 5th annual “Party In The Woods” has all you favorite things mixed into one weekend. The best part is that 100% of the proceeds go towards developing, building, and maintaining local recreational trails.
Pack up your tent or RV and head to the Noquemanon Trail Network Forestville Trail Head on July 12th and 13th. Don’t feel like camping? Just go to the Superior Dome and a shuttle will bring you to and from the festivities. When you arrive, choose from a number of craft breweries such as Black Rocks Brewery, Ore Dock Brewing Company, Bell’s Brewery, The Mitten Brewing Company, and many more! After that, stop at one of the many food vendors that will be serving up amazing food.
It wouldn’t be a festival without some music! With two stages, there’s room for many great local musicians. You can expect to see bands such as Ignorant Mob, Lumi, Stone Folk, Daydreamers, and more! This festival will begin Friday evening and go until Saturday night. They also have organized runs, rides, and yoga that will be going on during the festival. If you’re interested in volunteering, you will receive a free general admissions ticket. So bring your bikes and hiking shoes and check out the Forestville Festival next weekend!
