Marquette, MI – 9/11/2019 – Join us Saturday, September 21st from 12pm-5pm in the mediaBrew (formally Great Lakes Radio) parking lot, located right next to SuperOne Foods in Marquette, to help raise money for Kevin!
This on June 17th 2019, Kevin was brought into UP Health Systems with chest pains. The doctors determined Kevin had suffered from several heart attacks and would have to undergo three bypasses. Unfortunately they discovered Kevin was allergic to the blood thinning medicine, therefore causing Kevin to start getting blood clots. Following that incident, two of the three bypasses did not work, forcing Kevin’s heart to function at a 10th of what it should. He spent two weeks at Spectrum Butterworths in Grand Rapids, and they were able to keep him off the transplant list. But, with everything that has happened, he only has a portion of his heart working. His heart will never be at normal percentage again. The doctors will not be able to clear him for work at this time, or possibly ever.
On Saturday, September 21, we will be having a benefit to raise money for Kevin. There will be live music,and food for purchase. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle, and a silent and live auction. Some of the prizes include a $2,500 Travel Voucher, Growlers, T-Shirts, Wall Art, a classic Jeep for restoration and more! Please join us in helping raise money for Kevin.
