Marquette, MI – August 14, 2014 – So there I am, sitting in my office at the station, and I’m starving. You know what sounds good? Teriyaki Chicken Salad from the Union Grill. Clearly the only thing to do is clock out and go to lunch!
They smoke the chicken whole, so all of the marinated flavor is locked in. Todd doesn’t pull the chicken off the bone until he’s sure it’s done. The Teriyaki marinated taste is to die for.
Of course, chicken is only part of the dish. Union Grill packs on the bleu cheese, Craisins, cashews, and tons of mandarin oranges. It’s all topped off with a sesame seed dressing so wonderfully tart, it makes me want to clock out early and get another one for dinner!
