Munising, Michigan– 12/08/15– It was a great night for the Gwinn Boys basketball season to start! They traveled to Munising this Tuesday night to take on the Mustangs. Fans were excited to see how this game turned out as both of the teams have played very well in the past! Mike James had brought you all of the in-game action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9. The night started out great as the both teams seemed to be equally matched. The Mustangs picked up their pace and were able to get more than a ten point lead during the first half. Before halftime, the ModelTowners got a chance to go to the line to shoot because of the Mustangs multiple fouls so that helped. 19-32 was the final score for the first half of the game.
The second half, the Mustangs continued to lead the Gwinn ModelTowners but that didn’t mean the action was slow! Mike James said that the ModelTowners were definitely playing more with their feet for the second half. 42-65 was the final score for the game as the Mustangs took the win. Both teams played great and the fans showed their support throughout the whole game!
