Ishpeming, Michigan – January 26, 2014 – Loaded with attitude and smooth for the long haul, the Harley Davidson Road Glide is a long mileage dream machine for any Yooper.
I mean, we have a long way to go just to get to town, but when we leave town for Wisconsin or downstate Michigan, or go way south to Daytona Beach, or way west to Sturgis, a Road Glide is the way to travel.
This $20,000 dream bikes comes from the factory with 1450cc, but thanks to Mike’s Rolling Thunder Repair in Ishpeming it’s now 1550cc, displacing well over 100 horse.

Factory-wise, it’s a touring type motorcycle.

But this sweet, black beast Road Glide is now modified from the Ishpeming Harley pro. Mike’s Rolling Thunder power modifications will allow this rider to leave his friends in the dust. Mike’s modifications can include: bigger pistons, bigger valves, port and polished heads, cams, updated support plate and high flow oil pump, and tuned exhaust with high flow.

Mike added a special tuner so you can tune it optimally for speed or power.
Mike welded on two O2 sensor bungs to the exhaust pipe. So sensors can be installed on each exhaust to monitor air fuel ratio for optimal tuning.
Since this Harley Davidson Road Glide is a fuel injected bike, the bike’s tuner will now adjust the ratios at different speeds for maximum efficiently and power and speed.
Mike’s Rolling Thunder Repair offers a Harley Davidson Mod that gives you a better bike that is faster with better gas mileage because it now burns completely. This Harley rider now enjoys the best power and best complete burn at the best ratio.

In fact, this Harley now has over 40% increases in power and torque top to bottom.
Mike’s Rolling Thunder installed roller tip rocker arms and lifters, so the tip rolls and saves on friction and wear on the valve train.
This Harley Davidson Road Glide went from 70 horse to 100 and the best part is the Harley looks the same so his friends will never know…Other then they will still be revving back at the stop sign when this Harley owner will be just a blur down the road.
Mike’s Rolling Thunder installed high performance cam shafts and converted this Road Glide to be gear driven. Anytime you have a chain you have an adjuster and the problems that go with that system. This Harley Davidson Road Glide has special big roller lifters, and a gear driven cam, versus the chain drive. Plus Mike and his dad added adjustable push rods for the exact proper pre-load on the lifters.
This Harley Road Glide will last forever and now feels like you have a thunderous jet beneath you.
