Marquette, MI – 9/26/2019 – The first giveaway under mediaBrew Communications was a success! Tonight we gathered at River Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming to celebrate with the community and give away multiple prizes including the Perfect Yard Giveaway from Four Season Small Engine in Escanaba! Rhonda Rosewall of Ishpeming was the lucky winner of the Perfect Yard Giveaway that included Backpack Blower, Stihl MS250 Chainsaw, Toro 22″ Push Mower, and a Stihl Kombi Powerhead! The Special Prize of 195 gallons of gas from Kountry Korner and Crossroads Mini Mart went to Angela Dishaw of Ishpeming.
We had our staff helping out in every part of the night to make it the best giveaway party yet! Abbie and Amy were helping get everyone checked in so they could start with the festivities as soon as possible.
Everyone that attended tonight’s event was sent home with a door prize that was donated from one of our gracious local businesses. Adam Carpenter and Walt Lindala were on the mic to announce all of the winners of the various door prizes. Some of the prizes included a hat and oil change from Pomp’s Tires, hats from Interstate Batteries, various bar chips from local bars in the area including Barr’s Bar, Full Throttle and Up North bar, and more!
After the first round of door prizes were given away, we took a little break to get into the delicious homemade food from Mama Russo’s. Every year, Mama Russo’s in Ishpeming helps out with our giveaway parties by giving us some of the best Italian food the area has to offer. Tonight, the giveaway attendees enjoyed Lasagna, potato salad, cudighi, and more.
After we were done eating, it was right back to giving away some fantastic door prizes that included $30 toward public skating at Lakeview Arena, $20 gift certificates to The Throttle, two $12 certificates to Kildare Irish Pub, and more!
When all the door prizes were given out, it was then time for the grand prize, the Perfect Yard Giveaway! Mark took the mic and made a quick speech thanking everyone for attending tonight’s event, and thanking our sponsors. After Mark finished, it was now time to start drawing names for the potential winners to join them in the front of the banquet hall. Walt called out the five lucky ticket holders that would come up to the front, and qualify to win the grand prize, by picking out an envelope that help the lucky paper.
Before the sixth ticket holder was called out, we were able to announce our next big giveaway which is the Living Room of Your Dreams from renown design specialist Rita Rossway of Interiors By Design, now located on the corner of US-41 and M-28 in Harvey! The Living Room of Your Dreams grand prize includes a sofa, easy chair, end table, cocktail table, counsel table, area rug, two lamps, wall art, pillows, and decor, adding up to $7,200!
When they were done announcing the newest Giveaway, Walt called off the last lucky ticket holder to select their envelope and join the other five at the front of the banquet hall. Once the finalist had their envelops, the crowd counted down as they opened them to reveal the winners..
Rhonda Rosewell from Ishpeming selected the lucky envelop that was holding the Perfect Yard Giveaway! Angela Dishaw from Ishpeming won the Cross Roads Mini Mart and Kountry Korner Shell certificate for 195 gallons of gas! Laura Wilder from Ishpeming won the SuperOne gift basket. Angela Lindstrom from Gwinn took home the Econo Foods gift basket. Haley Roberts from Marquette won the One nights free stay at Landmark Inn, and Dustin Reinhardt from Marquette won the Swick gold start service certificate. Thank you to everyone that came out to help celebrate and give back to the community!
