Marquette, MI – July 15, 2019 – At the end of June we joined representatives of Fairfield Inn & Suites at Founders Landing in Marquette for their groundbreaking ceremony. As the newest of many hotels in Marquette, Fairfield Inn & Suites brings more action to the South Marquette shoreline. The group will begin construction right away with hopes for completion in approximately one year.
The hotel will feature 92 rooms and a pool and provide many construction jobs and around 30 hotel jobs once building is complete. During the groundbreaking ceremony representatives from the hotel, architect company, and the community spoke about the new Marriott property. Barry J Polzin Architects were present as the full service architectural firm on the project and Marquette Animal Medical Center’s Dr. Kellie Holmstrom took part in the day’s groundbreaking as well.
Building on one of the last open lots along Founders Landing, Fairfield Inn & Suites shows us just how much the City of Marquette continues to grow and how excited investors are to contribute to our community.
