It’s starting to look like fall, and that means it’s getting close to hunting time! We played some great country and bluegrass music today on Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show, and we also talked hunting and fishing with a few very informative guests!
Adam first spoke with Jim from Marbles Outlet out of Gladstone, MI about fishing on the Escanaba River and other inland fisheries. They discussed which insects were hatching and how you can use those hatches to your advantage! They also had a chance to talk about some bow hunting!
For the second of the day’s Outdoor Reports, Adam talked with Barry Drews from Bear’s Nine Pines Resort on Lake Gogebic. They talked about fishing on Lake Gogebic and which species are hot right now. Walleye have been the main catches, but as the water temps cool down and we get more rain, the bite should improve for most species. They also chatted about the upcoming walleye fishing tournament on Lake Gogebic.
For today’s Big Boy Sports Report, Steve and Adam discussed what’s been happening in the NFL, and they talked about cuts and the season opener next week! Also up for discussion, college football, golf, and a bunch of other great topics!
We hope you had a great time tuning-in to today’s Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show! Tune in tomorrow for another great day of hunting, fishing, and sports in the UP and Michigan!
