It was another beautiful fall day today on the Outdoor Show! We got a chance to listen to some great classic country and bluegrass music, and we heard from George Jones on today’s Outlaw Cut!
My first guest today was Walt Noa, from Black Duck Hunting Preserve. We discussed how local grouse hunters have been fairing and what kind of cover the grouse have been holding to with this warm fall weather. We also talked with Walt about his pheasant and sharptail hunts that he guides out in North Dakota.
The second guest that I had on today’s show was Steve Koski, from Indian Country Sports out of L’Anse. We chatted about salmon fishing in the local rivers, and he and I talked about were fishermen can find salmon this time of the season. Also, we shared information on bird and bear hunting season and the youth deer hunt.
The Big Boy Sports Recap focused on what happened in the NFL this past weekend. Steve leads me in our bet by two games at two weeks into the season, but I’m determined not to lose our bet. Also, check out my facebook page to see the video of me ‘disposing’ of my unlucky Detroit Lions baseball cap.
We hope you had a great time tuning-in to today’s Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show! Tune in tomorrow for another great day of hunting, fishing, and sports in the UP and Michigan!
