Friday was a great day here on the Outdoor Show! The weather was excellent for bird hunters, and we got a chance to listen to some wonderful bluegrass and country music! We also caught up with a couple of guests who had some great information on how to get you out in the woods or on the water!
My first guest on Friday’s Outdoor Reports was Walt Noa of the Black Duck Hunting Preserve. He shared with us some very helpful information on what hunters have been seeing for grouse numbers and locations, and we also discussed how the weather will be influencing brood numbers. For the second half of our talk, Walt shared with us his hunting reports for woodcock, and he even talked a bit about hunting dogs!
For the second of Friday’s guests on the Outdoor Reports, I talked with Nick Simon, owner of Superior Outfitters located in Marquette, MI. We discussed how salmon fishermen around Marquette and Lake Michigan have been fairing, and we even got into some muskie fishing reports!
For Friday’s Big Boy Sports Recap, Steve and I talked about how Thursday night’s football game went and we made our predictions for who we thought would win during the weekend’s football games. We also discussed the NFL injury report and a bunch of other topics!
We hope you had a great time tuning-in to today’s Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show! Tune in tomorrow for another great day of hunting, fishing, and sports in the UP and Michigan!
