I had another great day today on the Outdoor Show bringing you all the best country and bluegrass music, only on 103-FXD! It was a warm fall day, and I got some great fall fishing reports on today’s Outdoor Reports from our guests! We got to hear some great alternative country, and our Outlaw Cut of the day was “Workin’ Man Blues” from Merle Haggard.
My first interview on today’s Outdoor Reports was with Nick from Superior Outfitters out of Marquette, MI. The rivers around Marquette are all very low right now, but the rain in the forecast is sure to get fish moving. Nick had some great tips for us on how to produce fish with these drier conditions.
For the second of today’s Outdoor Reports, I spoke with Pete from Settlers Co-Op, which is located in Bruce Crossing, MI. He had an excellent deer rut report for us from his area, and he also gave us a great bird report as well! For the second part of his report, he told us how fishermen in his neck of the woods have been doing with this dry weather.
On today’s Big Boy Sports Report, Steve Whelan and I first talked about what has been going on with the exciting MLB playoff race, and we also discussed something that has never happened before in the MLB playoffs! We then got into how the Detroit Red Wings are doing in the early season and a bunch of other sports topics as well!
We hope you had a great time tuning-in to today’s Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show! Tune in tomorrow for another great day of hunting, fishing, and sports in the UP and Michigan!
