Tuesday’s weather was gorgeous, and although it’s going to cool down shortly, the great weather made for excellent opportunities to get outside! I played some great country and bluegrass for you, only on 103-FXD!
My first interview on yesterday’s Outdoor Reports was with Pete from Settlers Co-Op, which is located in Bruce Crossing, MI. He had lots of great information for us on the current situation of the deer rut for hunters in the U.P. Also, he had an excellent bird hunting report for us, all while fishing for perch on Lake Gogebic!
On Tuesday’s second Outdoor Report, I welcomed back to the show special guest Brian Roell. Brian is a wildlife specialist for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and his report focused mainly on the deer herd in the central U.P. He told us all about the current deer herd numbers in our area, and he had a lot of great information for us on the deer rut!
For yesterday’s Big Boy Sports Recap, Steve Whelan and I discussed a bunch of great sports topics. We talked about Monday Night Football, and we talked some Detroit Lions. Next, we talked about the EPIC celebration in Kansas City with their win in the World Series, and finally, we chatted about the Red Wings latest win.
We hope you had a great time tuning-in to today’s Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show! Tune in tomorrow for another great day of hunting, fishing, and sports in the UP and Michigan!
