Marquette, MI – October 31, 2019 – Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show was a great one on Thursday afternoon, and despite the fact that it was Halloween, he was still able to find a couple guests who weren’t too busy with trick-or-treaters to talk.
Adam’s first guest was Mike Prokopovich from the West Branch Sportsman’s Club in Skandia. The club will be hosting FREE rifle sight-in days coming up on November 2nd, 9th, and 10th.
Monica Joseph, a DNR Wildlife Biologist from the Crystal Falls location, was Adam’s Second guest. Monica had some good reports on the grouse cycle, and she mentioned bear season and how it’s been going so far. She also talked about Chronic Wasting Disease, and baiting regulations in place to combat its spread.
Adam and Steve had one main thing to talk about in the Big Boy Sports Recap, and that was Game Seven of the World Series, which (spoiler alert) the Washington Nationals won on Wednesday night. It was the first World Series ever in which no home team won a single game. The guys also mentioned Thursday Night Football and college hoops.
