Marquette, MI – March 11, 2020 – Adam Carpenter had an interesting Outdoor Show on Wednesday afternoon, with a couple topics that are not usually talked about on his show. Both of his guests were very interesting, and the Big Boy Sports Recap was certainly entertaining.
Adam’s first guest was George Lindquist, the President of Michigan United Conservation Clubs. George talked about a few bills that have passed the state House of Representatives, and gave listeners an idea of how they might affect the Upper Peninsula.
Gus from Maple Ridge Bait and Taxidermy was the second guest on the show. Gus gave a Lake Gogebic ice fishing report, recapped the Gogebic Lodge Tournament, and previewed the upcoming Hogathon tournament.
Adam and Steve began the Big Boy Sports Recap with a topic that they couldn’t avoid: the effect of COVID-19 on sporting events around the nation. This was a large part of the segment, of course, but they did eventually get to a few other sports related topics.
