It was an awesome day today on the Outdoor Show! Snow was finally in the air, and that’s sure to mean better conditions for hunters all around the U.P.! We also got to listen to some great country and bluegrass music as well, plus we had the classic Johnny Paycheck song “Take This Job and Shove It” for today’s Outlaw Cut.
My first guest on today’s Outdoor Reports was Captain John from Daybreak Charters, which is located in Marquette. When Capt. John isn’t on the water, he’s in a deer stand, and he had some excellent deer bow hunting reports for us today! He gave us his best strategies for locating and harvesting a deer this season.

I had a very special guest for my second Outdoor Report of the day! I got a chance to sit down with Westwood High School student Josh Bartle. We talked about how he grew up hunting in the U.P., and we also talked about his first buck harvest!

For today’s Big Boy Sports Report, Steve Whelan and I talked the exciting playoff race in the MLB, and which teams are in the running for the pennant. We also got into a discussion on the NHL and a bunch of other interesting sports topics as well!
