Marquette, MI – February 17th, 2016 – We got a hold of Greg from Baitplus in Gwinn and spoke about the good reports coming from the plethora of lakes in southern Marquette County. He confirmed the reports, as Baitplus has been selling out of many different live baits in the past few weeks. We also discussed ice conditions and how much slush is on the ice. Then, we switched to talking about a new product line for maple syrup making.

For our next report we spoke with Tom at Hillside in Munising. It seems Munising Bay fishing has been kinda slow. The ice is in good shape inside the bay, but the west channel between Grand Island is quite sketchy. We also spoke about Autrain Lake and the snowmobile trails. We then finished up talking about ICEFEST this past weekend in Alger County and touched briefly on Valley Spur.
