Marquette, MI – April 7, 2016 – Chris from Bayview Bait & Tackle in Gladstone joined us to lament the weather and talk about the small amount of open water in Garden Bay for perch fishing. We also discussed the improving Brown Trout fishery and specific new lures should work well. Chris also passed along the latest reports coming from the Menominee River fishermen withregards to the walleye, steelhead and browns.
Next, we got Pete Sorelle from Settler’s Co-Op in Bruce Crossing on the line to confirm the steelhead reports from the Western UP. He passed along some key details and then we got into some tackle talk about hot products in his shop.
