I had a great Outdoor Show for you today, and I had a chance to play some amazing country and bluegrass for you, only on 103-FXD! The Packers’ game this weekend was a huge story, and we also had some great deer hunting reports from opening weekend! Today’s Outlaw Cut was a new one from Waylon Jennings called “Omaha”.
My first report of the day was with a special guest! Bill Rollo, Wildlife Biologist for the Michigan DNR, joined me to talk all about the deer gun season opening weekend. He told us how about what he has been seeing at the Marquette DNR Office deer check-in station. The deer that have been harvested all seem to be healthy, and that’s thanks to the excellent acorn crop we had this year!

I caught-up with Pete from Settlers Co-Op in Bruce Crossing, MI for my second Outdoor Report of the day. He had some deer reports for the opening weekend of gun deer season for us. Pete gave us some great info for hunters in the Bruce Crossing area, and he also told us which of his products can help deer hunters see more deer this season.
For the day’s Big Boy Sports Report, Steve and I had a ton to talk about! Of course, the Packers and Lions game was a big topic, and I gave Steve a ton of flak about being a Packers fan! We also discussed the rest of the weekend’s NFL games, and we went over our picks for this past weekend.
