Marquette, MI – December 4th, 2015 – I sure had a lot of fun on today’s show bringing you all the best country and bluegrass music, only on 103-WFXD. Today’s Outlaw Cut was our usually Friday jam, “Take This Job and Shove It” by Johnny Paycheck.
For the first Outdoor Report today, I caught up with Walt Noa from the Black Duck Hunting Preserve down in Rapid River, Michigan. He recently came back from bird hunting in North Dakota, and he gave us a lot of great tips for hunting grouse in the late season. We also talked about mild weather hunting strategies as well.
The weather we’ve had lately has been improving conditions on the water and we have some excellent outdoor reports from fishermen in our area. I got a hold of Diane and Chris from Bayview Bait and Tackle out of Gladstone, MI. We talked about how the fishing has been on Little Bay de Noc with the unseasonably warm temperatures and precipitation we’ve had lately. Their report today focused mainly on walleye and perch fishing on Lake Michigan.
For today’s Big Boy Sports Report, Steve and I had a ton of topics to cover. Of course, we talked at length about the Packers and Lions’ game last night. The Lions got off to a great start last night, but the Detroit refs had other plans. Also, Aaron Rodgers came through for the Packers with a 60+ yard hail Mary to secure Green Bay the victory. We also discussed a few other topics as well.
