An Opportunity to Assist the Community through A Holiday Concert

Ishpeming12/27/11 – One thing I’ve learned from jamming out with fellow musicians in Ishpeming at the Roosevelt is that Kurt Gronvall likes to use his musical talent to assist the less fortunate in the community. I’ve been playing with the other musicians of the Wednesday Night Music Club for the past two years with the opportunity to assist with several fund raising activities. I’m really glad that I can use my talent also to help out with the rest of the Wednesday Night group.

Tomorrow at the Kaufman Auditorium, the Wednesday Night Music Club along with the band, Drive, The Wachters will perform with Gale Lajoye who will present his skit, Snowflake, to raise funds for the Lutheran Social services and Child  & Family Services.

A Holiday Concert

Room at the Inn Homeless Shelter is benefiting from the funds raised at tomorrow’s production. Room at the Inn is run by an interfaith coalition of churches sharing the mission to provide support and shelter for the homeless in the Marquette area.

Tickets for tomorrow’s performance can be purchased online at www.kaufmanauditorium.org, from MacDonalds Music Store or at the door.
