Glen Campbell’s daughter, Ashley has recently released a song she recorded to honor her father and his courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. The debut single entitled, “Remembering” embodies the sentiments of Ashley’s concern for her Dad’s well being.
Ashley along with her brothers, Shannon and Cal, were able to perform on the road with their Dad on his Goodbye Tour, following his 2011 diagnosis.
“Remembering” will be officially released on June 29 on Dot Records, after the award-winning documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, about the country legend’s life, career struggle with Alzheimer’s, airs on June 28 at 9PM ET on CNN. A different version of “Remembering” is available on documentary’s soundtrack.
