Country Music legend Charley Pride is 75 today! He is one of African- American country artist that gained considerable success in the country music business and only the second African- American to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
Charlie career spans over 40 years of which he has generated 39 #1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. Starting off playing guitar casually during his stint in the Negro American League, Charlie recorded his first single in the early 1960’s and its been a great career ever since!
