Birthday wishes to David McCullough, who turns 81 today. The native from Pittsburgh, PA and Yale graduate, I have come to know his voice from the 12 years as host to the PBS series, The American Experience.
Author of eight books, more than ten million in print; Historian, and twice winning the Pulitzer Prize, McCullough was the host/narrator of The American Experience for 12 years. My favorite episodes were “Surviving The Dust Bowl”, Spy In The Sky – U-2 Spy Plane and The Crash of 1929.
