Lauren Alaina has been missed from the country charts and it couldn’t be helped. The female singer has undergone vocal cord surgery in August and has had a slow recovery time when it comes to even speaking.
Lauren was able to finish her tour then sought treatment in the attempt to continue her singing career. In a recent interview, Alaina disclosed that following surgery, she had to spent eight days completely quiet. Then she could only speak for 5 minutes a day; leaving her to literally choose her words carefully.
She’s now anxious to work on new material following May 2013’s release for “Barefoot And Buckwild”!
