Marquette, Michigan – October 10th, 2015 – The wind was blowing, the leaves were turning color, and the turntables were spinning ’round and ’round during American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com! On tonight’s show I brought you “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood in the 10pm (eastern) hour. I like to get patriotic on Saturday night, and bring you songs that mean so much to what the United States of America stands for. I hope you enjoyed “God Bless the USA” too!
I had to apologize to you for playing Christmas music on Saturday night! In the 9pm hour I played “Blue Christmas” by Elvis Presley for the young gals listening up in the Copper Country in Helltown. The young gals were having a Christmas Party and sipping on some soda pop! They said they like to celebrate Christmas early. Thanks for listening to my show, ladies!
After having a VERY busy night, I was glad to talk to so many fine folks that were enjoying the beautiful fall weather! Highs in the upper 70’s are expected for tomorrow, Sunday, October 11th. Make sure that you get out and take a drive with the family and enjoy the fall colors on Sunday!
Make sure you join me next Saturday, October 17th from 7pm to Midnight as I’ll do it all over again and bring you American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
