Marquette, Michigan – January 14th, 2017 – What a storm! I know Gwinn is still digging out from the winter storm from Tuesday and into Wednesday. I think we saw close to a foot of snow in downtown New Swanzy, which is a suburb of Gwinn, Michigan. I hope you’re not snowed in!
This time around the Copper Country didn’t see as much snow as the rest of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It’s about time they got a break. I know reports that were coming in from the South-Central Upper Peninsula suggested places like Iron Mountain and Escanaba also saw their fair share of snow early in the week.

The forecast looks a bit interesting into next week.. could be looking at a winter thaw! No matter what you’ll be doing or where you’ll be going make sure you’re listening to American Country Gold next Saturday night from 7pm to Midnight on 103-FXD and WFXD.com.
