Marquette, Michigan – December 10th, 2016 – I talked to many folks who reported single digit temperatures Saturday night. In fact, one morning when I woke up in Gwinn it was ZERO degrees. Where’s El Nino when you really need it?! Either way, folks kept their thermostats turned up and I kept cranking out the classic country from 7pm to Midnight on American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com. As I said, it was frosty outside and cozy inside during my show.
Right now it looks like Sunday will be cold. We’re going to be looking at highs on Sunday around 15 above zero around the Marquette area. Don’t go out unless you really have to!
Alright, on to Saturday’s show… I received a couple phone calls from Finland on Saturday night. It’s funny… I was just thinking about how my show goes around the world and is heard on 13 different radio stations on Jarvi Radio in Finland. If you happened to miss my show on Saturday night; remember, it will be rebroadcast on Jarvi Radio in Finland from 2pm to 7pm (eastern) time on Sunday. So, every Sunday you have a chance to relive my show from the previous night on Sunday!
I love to hear from you every Saturday night. I hope my buddy’s Pete Hurman in Munising and Ben Livingston in Gwinn are both doing very well. Each Saturday night when I sign off I always wish Pete and Ben a good night. It’s been a tradition for the past 6+ years! Good night to you as well…
I’ll see you next Saturday, December 17th from 7pm to Midnight on American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com! Remember, you always have the option to text or call me on Saturday night. Just text or call 361-WFXD, that’s 361-9393 or email elmer@wfxd.com! Have an excellent week!
Recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters – American Country Gold with Elmer Aho on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
