Marquette, Michigan – November 28th, 2015 – I’d like to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! I hope you were able to enjoy time away from work and spend it with family and friends around the dinner table. I was busy out in the woods, but my wife Rita and my family saved some delicious leftovers for me! I didn’t bag my trophy buck, but I did bag some delicious Thanksgiving leftovers!
Speaking of trophy buck how has your experience been in the woods this deer season? I’ve received mixed reports. It seems out in the Western Upper Peninsula the number of deer being bagged has really dropped compared to last deer season. The Eastern end of the Upper Peninsula doesn’t seem to be much different than the Western end. Either way I’d still love to hear from you with your deer kills. You can reach me during the week and leave a voice message for me. You can call 361-WFXD, that’s 361-9393 or email me at elmer@wfxd.com.
The weather sure took a turn on Thanksgiving too! Wow did it ever cool down! I think it was 9 degrees above zero in Gwinn on Thanksgiving morning. Winter sure came in with a vengeance! Luckily, this coming week it does look like it will gradually be warming up.
It was Elmer’s Pick Night Saturday night during American Country Gold on 103-FXD. I ended up picking all the music during my show. I’ll even try to get some Christmas music mixed in to American Country Gold next Saturday, December 5th! I’ll also be back to the requests and dedications next week! You can reach me in the 103-FXD studio at 361-WFXD or email elmer@wfxd.com. Find me on Facebook here.
Recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters – American Country Gold with Elmer Aho on 103-FXD and WFXD.com!
