Marquette, Michigan – May 23rd, 2015 – Elmer Aho brought you the best in traditional country music on Saturday night–Memorial Day Weekend–only during American Country Gold on 103-FXD and WFXD.com! Elmer became all too familiar with the sound of a phone ringing all Saturday night long as campgrounds, camps, travelers, visitors, and locals all tuned in across the U.P. and around the world as they were eager to talk to Elmer Aho on the phone! Luckily, their persistence paid off as they did finally get through to Elmer Aho!
Elmer Aho did get a late start Saturday night during American Country Gold. Normally, Elmer starts American Country Gold at 7pm (eastern) but ended up starting the show around 7:30pm (eastern) on Saturday night. It was all good! Folks tuning in at Van Riper State Park in Champion, Michigan were singing along to American Country Gold with Elmer Aho all Saturday night long. Thanks for listening, guys!
Elmer Aho would like to remind you what the true meaning of Memorial Day is: Remember those that gave their life for this wonderful country and thanking our active duty servicemen around the world for their service. We thank you this Memorial Day for all that you do. Thank you.
