Marquette, Michigan – March 26th, 2016 – After being gone for the past few weeks I was glad to be back to host my show, American Country Gold, on 103-FXD and WFXD.com on Saturday night from 7pm to Midnight. Folks from all over the world called me up on Saturday night to welcome me back to the microphone. While I was gone my working partner Eric brought you a previous show from March 2012 on 103-FXD. I know folks still tried calling the studio to get in touch with me while I was gone. I had quite a few messages on the studio phone that were left for me, too!
I did have to play some “catch up” on Saturday night during American Country Gold. Normally I do Elmer’s Pick Night the last Saturday of the month (Saturday night was the last Saturday of the month) but decided to scrap it since I was gone the past 3 weeks. :)
I had hundreds of emails, Facebook messages, and even snail mail that came to the 103-FXD studio while I was away. I really do appreciate all the concern from my loyal listeners just like you! Folks from one end of the Upper Peninsula to the other were wondering what’s been going on. I was on spring break and had family commitments the past 3 weeks. I’m so happy to finally be back and wipe the dust off the turntables!
I also PLAN to attend the Great Lakes Radio Giveaway Party this coming Thursday, March 31st with Bayside Beverage. We’ll finally be giving away the Yamaha Kodiak 700 Ultramatic ATV on Thursday night! I hope to see you at the Red Rock Lanes at 6:30pm this coming Thursday, March 31st. Make sure you take along your invite, too!
