Marquette, Michigan – February 6th, 2016 – That’s right, your weekend has just begun! Folks from all over the Upper Peninsula are still digging out from the recent storm on Wednesday. I know Eric said that in Ishpeming they saw over a foot of snow. It was hard to keep up with all the snow they received. Gwinn didn’t get it quite as bad as Ishpeming…
On to tonight’s show! While folks were plowing and clearing out their driveways, businesses, etc. they were tuning in to American Country Gold with me, Elmer Aho on 103-FXD and WFXD.com. I was back to the request line Saturday night since we’re in a brand new month. Last Saturday was Elmer’s Pick Night on American Country Gold. I heard from folks in California, Tennessee, and even Wyoming during American Country Gold!
Jason in Marquette always has a habit of calling me even before my show starts! Every Saturday night Jason calls just before 7pm. Sometimes I don’t have a chance to answer the phone, then it rings and rings! I apologize, Jason. Sometimes I just don’t have time to answer the phone when I’m doing prep work and getting ready for the show. Either way, I was able to squeeze in Jason’s request on Saturday night during American Country Gold.
