Ishpeming, MichiganSeptember 29th, 2015 – It looks like my family and I may have had our last fire of the year on Sunday evening. Around 9pm on Sunday night my family and I decided to enjoy what was probably the last beautiful weekend of 2015. What better way than to enjoy a 60 degree clear evening in the U.P. than with a backyard campfire?!

We roasted hot dogs around the last campfire of the year and enjoyed each others company. The embers were HOT and the conversation was more than pleasant. It felt like summer had started all over again. It was BEAUTIFUL! We even got a clear glimpse of the moon.

This past weekend I took advantage of every minute. I took a ride down to Crystal Falls on Sunday and decided to wax my car, too. You should wax your car at least once-twice a year to protect it from the abundant Marquette County winter salt on U.S. 41!

I hope you were able to enjoy this past weekend as much as I did! It looks like folks are going to be getting the colder weather that they ordered this coming week. Hey, don’t blame me… I’ve been enjoying this beautiful, warm weather.
