Ishpeming, Michigan – October 11th, 2019 – When my sister asked me to be the Godfather to my precious 16-month-old nephew Zakary I was completely caught by surprise. I was very honored, but very surprised. This happened back in July.
My sister and her husband, along with my nephews were on vacation visiting my brother in Appleton. We were in the Fox River Mall when she asked me if I wanted to be Zak’s Godfather. I was so excited you could hear my excitement echoing down the long shopping mall. No joke!
So, being the Godfather I have responsibilities. Zakary’s baptism will be coming up on Saturday, October 19th. My entire family will be gathering up that weekend to celebrate. You could say I AM THE PROUD GODFATHER!
