3/9/2015 Marquette, Michigan — Flies are pesky, they’re dirty, and they’re filthy rotten creatures! Okay, so that was a bit harsh. But in all honesty I don’t like flies. But today I happened to come across a sure sign of Spring in the 103-FXD studio in Marquette. When I was on-the-air doing my afternoon shift on 103-FXD, I heard that noise I haven’t heard in MONTHS. It was a pesky fly near the window in the 103-FXD studio. Could this be the same fly that froze over this past winter? I literally haven’t seen a fly since November 2014.
It was actually a welcome sign of Spring. I had a hard time trying to capture the fly… until it went for a crash landing on the studio light in 103-FXD. As always, I just couldn’t swat the thing! I figured I’d let him live to see another day… maybe Dennis will finish the dirty work tomorrow for me!?
