Ishpeming, Michigan – October 29th, 2019 – Over the weekend I talked about how my family carved their pumpkins and put them on display for all to see. Well, you could say we came out ahead with 2 pumpkins that (somehow) managed to withstand a carving session inside my sister’s household. When you have 2 kids running around (age 8 AND another that is 16 months) it’s not always easy keeping a steady hand carving out your pumpkin.
The family carved out 2 pumpkins over the weekend. My nephew Landyn carved the first one (shown in the front of the picture) and my brother carved the pumpkin in the back. The 8 year old came out ahead over the 40 year old! We were all very impressed at Landyn’s pumpkin carving skills. Way to go! Now, they’re on display for the entire neighborhood to see in Ishpeming.
My nephews have chosen their costumes. We’ll see how they hold up on Halloween night.
