Ishpeming, Michigan – May 4th, 2015 – Last night I heard the sounds of summer as I was riding my pedal bike on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail between Ishpeming and Negaunee. This was the first time I’ve been on the Heritage Trail since October of last year. We’re talking about 7 months here. The breeze was blowing through my beard as I got up to about 30 MPH at one point.
I could’ve swore I heard the critters whisper “we’re back” during my adventure on the Heritage Trail on Monday night. The temperature was around 53 degrees as the sun set over the Iron Ore Heritage Trail in Western Marquette County. What a treat. Summer’s in sight.
Take a listen (below) to the critters on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail. Don’t you just love that sound?!
