1/20/2015 Munising, Michigan — For many years you’ve enjoyed the Munising Mustangs all across Alger County and beyond on Good Time Oldies 1400 WQXO in Munising. Over the past several weeks we’ve received phone calls, emails, and comments from folks all across Munising wondering where the coverage of the Mustangs has gone. It’s still right here on AM 1400 WQXO in Munising. Charlie Nebel, who brought you the Munising Mustangs for many years decided to retire. That left Great Lakes Radio scrambling to find another broadcaster to bring you the Munising Mustangs.
We’re happy to bring you our latest addition to our exceptional staff — Mike James of Chatham, Michigan. Mike James, a retired Corrections Officer from the Alger County Correctional Facility will help us bring you the coverage of the Munising Mustangs beginning this Thursday, January 22nd as the Munising Mustang Boys take on Engadine. Mike James will have pregame coverage beginning around 6:45pm on Thursday evening on Good Time Oldies 1400 WQXO and WQXO.com! We’re delighted to continue to serve our community with the Munising Mustangs and Mike James on Good Time Oldies 1400 WQXO!
