3/23/2015 Marquette, Michigan — You remember the TV show Get Smart? I’m finally going to get smart myself…. this weekend I purchased a smartphone online. The deal was just too hard to resist. I found a smartphone through Tracfone for five bucks! That’s right.. a brand new smartphone online for five bucks. Of course, that was through a special internet offer + promotional codes. I checked in and looked at many reviews on the phone. Even if I’m spending five bucks, I like to make sure I’m spending money wisely. The phone had decent reviews. Seemed about average. I debated most of this past weekend whether I should give in or not.
The phone + the 3 month plan came to a grand total of $25! That was about the best deal that I could find. Granted, it’s a limited plan but it’s good enough for me. This new smartphone will mark the 3rd phone that I’ve owned since I started using a cell phone about 9 years ago. Nonetheless, I’m pretty excited about it! I’ll have to talk about my phone this Friday on 103-FXD with Lisa Ravioli in the 4pm hour. I’ll get back to you on my thoughts with my new smartphone…
