Marquette, Michigan – January 17th, 2017 – Yes, it seems that way, doesn’t it? After several weeks of single digit temperatures we’re back up into the 30’s most of the week. When I walked out of my front door on Saturday I didn’t even have my jacket zipped up.
It’s about time we get a mid-winter thaw. I know it’s going to get sloppy on U.S. 41, but, despite that, it’ll be nice to have SOME of the snow go down. Elmer had a comment Saturday night during American Country Gold when we were chatting about the warmer weather on the way. Elmer said “It’s also going to be hip breaking weather.” That may be true.
No matter how you look at it I hope this tropical heat wave will stick around for a couple of weeks. By the end, most of the highways should be clear of ice and snow…
