The Local Artist Show was proud to present Jeordie!
Live from the Roosevelt Cultural Center in Downtown Ishpeming. Listen to tonight’s show HERE.
Ishpeming, Michigan — The lovely and talented Jeordie Schekeryk (daughter of the folk singer Melanie) sang her heart out on the Local Artist Show along with her Mixology Project band, bassist Chad MacDonald, guitarist Tony Parlato and drummer Scott Kusmirek! It was a great show tonight from the Roosevelt Cultural Center in Downtown Ishpeming!
Scott Kusmirek grew up in Munising, drummed locally then moved to Arizona, continued drumming, which eventually caught the eye of several of The Gin Blossoms; leading to Scott joining the band. He is now living in Munising once again after moving back in June 2011. He is proud to call the Upper Peninsula of Michigan his home. Scott’s current three piece band, Vinyl Station is dynamite!
Jeordie brought you many songs off her album on the Local Artist Show. Jeordie will be making her rounds across the U.P. through Sunday, November 20th. In fact, this evening (Wednesday, November 16th) she will be performing at the Lumberjack Tavern in Big Bay…if you’re out Deer Hunting, come on out to the Lumberjack Tavern in Big Bay.
