Ishpeming, MI – V.I.P. rocked the Roosevelt Cultural Center as host George Knight of Bordertown ushered along another great rendition of the Local Artist Show.
Their first song, “Time Stands Still in My Heart” started off the set followed by an awesome cover with great harmonies of Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours”.
“Creek Alley” by The Mama’s & The Papa’s kicked off the second set followed by an original “Take Me Down to the River”, a song about insecurities.
The third set started off with Melissa Etheridge’s version of “Refugee”, followed by another original titled “That’s All Right”. George aptly renamed the song to the “Angry Lady Song” as it was about a broken heart. A Roseanne Cash cover of “My Baby Thinks He’s a Train” wrapped up the set.
A warming cover of Dar Williams’ version of “Comfortably Numb” started the final set and “Lonely Enough” wrapped up the show.
