Marquette, MI – July 6, 2020 – What a week it was down in Gwinn leading up to the 4th of July. It was another incredibly great and fun Gwinn Alumni Softball Tournament, the 3rd annual. It took a lot of great people to make it all happen, especially during a pandemic, but it was still very well run and received.
My class, Class of 2010, had a good run in the tournament. After receiving the 3 seed, we made a run into the championship game on Friday night. Unfortunately, we lost to the class of 2015 for the 2nd consecutive year, this time by a score of 17-15.
While we may not have took home the championship hardware, Class of 2010 was awarded with the “Party Towners” team award for our “performance” outside of the field for the week.
