Marquette, MI – October 14, 2019 – Early afternoon yesterday, before football started, I decided to take my dog for a walk. I have a good route I use that gives her some good exercise (and tired her out for when she’s at home).
I was about halfway through and coming to the peak of a large hill near Washington Street. I looked up and almost had to stop in my tracks. In the distance, which I could see perfectly form the top of the hill, a beautiful display of fall colors. Acres and acres of trees made of bright orange, and dark red, and everything in between.
I complain a lot about the change of weather when the temps start to get cool. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve truly learned to appreciate the natural beauty we are so lucky to have in the Upper Peninsula.
