Marquette, MI – April 23, 2019 – The NFL Draft is this week and that means the leaking of Wonderlic Test scores. The Wonderlic is a timed, standardized test, that is given to hopeful NFL prospects at the NFL Combine.
Each and every year test scores are leaked with the hope of shaming the prospects. There is no other reason for the scores to leak, or even for the test to be taken for that matter. There is no correlation between the test scores and successful NFL players.
But I always wondered what it would be like to take the Wonderlic. So I found a sample today, and in my stress-free setting it was still stressful. You have 12 minutes to answer 50 questions. It was like I was back in school.
I scored decently, however I am not sure if I broke rules by using a calculator. But my big takeaway was, that in no way does it have any correlation to football. And standardized tests are generally a sham.
